What’s this picnic all about?!
Many annual Bracewell Community Picnics were held with one of the last picnics being held in the 1980’s. We would like to bring together old and new members of the community and celebrate Bracewell!
In 2012, we had about 50 people attend the first reunion picnic. In 2013, twelve members of one family attended! It’s a great opportunity to catch up with people you haven’t seen in a long time. We hope to see these same attendees and more this year!
Do you remember the Bracewell School? The Bracewell Store? The Bracewell Beet Dump? Please write down some of your favorite memories on paper and bring these stories and photographs to share. We plan to have some displays of
historical information the day of the picnic, so if there is something you would like to have included, please contact Judy at (970) 225-2949 or via email at Judy@BracewellFarm.com.
We are working to compile a history of Bracewell to share with others and to memorialize our special community!
